New studies have shown, that Ashwaganda has been shown to effectively treat anxiety and depression. One particular study took 87 participants over a 12 week period and administered 300mg of Ashwagandha to them. Half were given the two pills a day of placebo and the other group two pills of Ashwagandha. The group given Ashwagandha, saw a drastic improvement in stress, anxiety, focus, and decreased fatigue in comparison to the placebo group. Another kick in the ass, is that there are no side effects to taking the correct dosage. This is in comparison, to prescription medication for anxiety and depression, which can have some awful side effects.

I would recommend starting with 250mg-500mg and taking notes on how your body feels. There are several ways to take it. Note, that I am not a doctor. Through research and self experimentation, I have concluded that this is a healthy dose. Personally, I have found by pill or powder works best.
